FAQ
Frequently asked questions about DEPTH4.
How often is data updated?
DEPTH4 actively digests news continuously. The Latest thesis activity timestamp shows the most recent update. Most signals update within minutes of relevant headlines.
What does Blind Spot mean practically?
It's the percentage of the thesis the market hasn't recognized yet. A 60% blind spot means if the thesis is correct, there's significant room for the asset to move as the market catches up.
Can I trade directly through DEPTH4?
No. DEPTH4 is an information and analysis tool only. You cannot execute trades. We are not a broker.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Account → Manage subscription in Stripe → Cancel in the Stripe portal.
What's the difference between Insider and Pro?
Pro includes full Signals library, thesis access, positions, and community features (creating theses, leaderboard, following authors).
How do I submit a news source?
Go to the Feed page and click Submit headline →
What happens when a thesis resolves?
It's marked Clean, Messy, or Broken and moved to Archive. The author's win rate updates on the Leaderboard.
Why is conviction different from blind spot?
Conviction is how confident DEPTH4 is that the thesis is RIGHT. Blind spot is how much is NOT YET PRICED IN. High conviction + low blind spot means the market already knows. Low conviction + high blind spot means big opportunity if it turns out right.
Should I act on every alert?
No. Bell alerts cover starred signal conviction shifts and new actionable promotions — not trade recommendations. Open the signal card, read contributing theses, and wait for the read to stabilize.
Community thesis vs DEPTH4 thesis?
DEPTH4 theses are generated by the platform's AI engine. Community theses are user-generated by Pro members. Both are tracked and updated, but community theses reflect the author's view, not DEPTH4's.
How to get the most value
Three habits: (1) Check Feed daily for conviction changes on starred assets. (2) Read thesis cascades for transmission mechanics. (3) Publish your own theses for community feedback and track record.
